Ideas for weekend

About Histrians, ancient tribe that inhabited Istria, was known throughout the Mediterranean by the fearlessness and piracy. The Romans waged more wars of conquest against the Histri, and the strengthening of the Roman Empire required the expansion of territory. The Romans were stopped along the coast between Umag and Savudrija, and on the border with Istria began erect a fortress Aquileia. Histrians stood in the way of winning Illyria, a country of Queen Teuta. The army of the young Histrian king Epulon started the battle with the Romans. After the victory, the joy Histrians camped near their fort in the north of Istria and started singing and drinking wine, although the king warned of alertness and calm. The Romans have followed them all the time, and then falls into the camp and killed most of them. King Epulon, with few soldiers managed to escape to the capital Nesactium.
After several months of the Roman siege, the city ran out of food so Epulon, together with his comrades, decided to die for freedom, first killing women and children and then himself. Epulon stab a sword through his heart, not wanting to become a Roman slave. So with the last Histrian king ended the Histrian kingdom.
